Euphoric Drive is a metaphor of contemporary infinite desire. It is a 3D animation of slowly moving landscape. It depicts the psychological terrain of contemporary people who are indoctrinated by globalized modern life. Today’s major international corporations have branches all over the world, and profit from offering their services anywhere at any time. Euphoric Drive represents the psychological mirage of our desire who were acclimated to the sweet euphoria of capitalism.
Euphoric Drive(황홀한 드라이브)는 글로벌화 시대의 다국적 기업 서비스에 익숙해진 현대인의 무한한 만족감과 일시적 행복감을 3D 애니메이션 형식으로 표현한 작업이다. 영상은 빌보드가 무한히 펼쳐진 공간에서 느리게 끊임없이 미끄러지는 드라이브 형식으로 되어있다. 기업이 제공하는 서비스의 맛에 일시적 행복과 편안함을 느끼는 현대인의 심리적 상태를 보여주고자 하였으며, 신기루와 같은 자본의 황홀경을 묘사하려 하였다.
